What you get in every case
All six sizes come in a case of 250, and each container comes with its own clear push-on lid. There are no separate lids to order or match. The containers are made from polypropylene (PP), and the 500ml to 1000ml sizes are a heavy duty grade. The product pages list them as microwave safe for reheating, with the lid loosened or taken off first, and as freezer safe for batch cooking and meal prep.
Small round containers: 8oz and 450ml
The 8oz round container (about 235ml) suits sauces, sides, rice portions and dips. The 450ml (16oz) round container is the next step up for soup, a side of curry or a small rice portion. They are round, so they stack neatly in a delivery bag.
Rectangular containers: 500ml, 650ml, 750ml and 1000ml
The rectangular containers are the main-meal range. The 500ml works for curries, rice and sides. The 650ml and 750ml are listed for main meals such as curries, Chinese dishes, pasta and rice. The 1000ml suits family portions and sharing dishes.
Choosing a size for your menu
- Curry and rice together: the 650ml or 750ml for a single portion, the 1000ml for a sharing portion.
- Noodles and pasta: the 650ml or 750ml.
- Soup: the 450ml round or the 500ml rectangular.
- Sides, rice and sauces: the 8oz round or 450ml round.
- Meal prep: the 500ml to 750ml, filled, chilled or frozen, then reheated.
Reheating and freezing
For reheating, loosen the lid or take it off before the container goes in the microwave. The containers are freezer safe, which is useful for batch cooking. Always follow the heating guidance on the product page.
Add sauce pots and a bag
Most orders need a little more than the main container. Add sauce pots for dips and chutneys, and a paper carrier bag to take it all home.
