About these terms
These terms apply to every order you place with Mega Packaging, whether you order on this website, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp. Please read them before you order. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Some parts apply only to business customers and some only to consumers, and we say so where that is the case.
- You are a consumer if you are an individual buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession.
- You are a business customer if you buy for a business, school, council, charity or any other organisation.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Ordering and acceptance
- You can order on this website with no minimum order. Before you pay, the checkout shows everything in your order so you can check it and correct any mistakes.
- When you place an order, we email you to confirm we have received it. This email does not mean we have accepted your order yet.
- We accept your order, and a contract between us is formed, when we email you to say your order has been dispatched.
- We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, we cannot deliver to your address, or there is an obvious error in a price or description. If we do, we will tell you and you will not be charged, or we will refund you in full.
- If you order by phone, email or WhatsApp, these terms still apply and we will confirm your order in writing.
Reorder and your usuals
If you have a customer account, you can see your order history, reorder a past order in one step and keep a list of your usuals. A reorder is a new order at today's prices and availability, not the price you paid before, so please check your basket before you pay.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help if the order has not yet been dispatched. Consumers also have a legal right to cancel, explained on our returns page. Custom-printed orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Prices and VAT
- Prices on the website are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added in the basket at the rate that applies to each product, which for most of our products is the standard rate of 20%.
- Before you pay, your basket shows the goods excluding VAT, the VAT, what you have saved, UK delivery and the total you will pay. Delivery is free on every UK order, so there is nothing to add for delivery.
- We provide a VAT invoice for every order.
- Our prices can change from time to time. The price you pay is the price shown in your basket when you place your order, and later changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.
- If we find that a price was clearly wrong, we will contact you before we accept your order. You can then order at the correct price or cancel.
Payment
Paying by card
You can pay by debit or credit card at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We take payment when you place your order.
Bulk and trade pricing
- Trade and bulk pricing is open to anyone. A minimum order of about £1,000 (excluding VAT) normally applies for an order to qualify; we confirm the price and any minimum in writing before you order.
Delivery
- Free UK next-day delivery. Next-day applies to orders placed by 4pm (16:00), Monday to Friday, and where Evri offers next-day delivery to your address. Otherwise your order goes by standard delivery, which is usually 2 to 5 days.
- Delivery is free on every order to a UK address, with no minimum order.
- Orders placed by 4pm, Monday to Friday, leave us the same day. A Friday order usually arrives on the following Monday (Evri sometimes delivers on a Saturday, but please allow until Monday).
- Orders go with Evri on a fully tracked service: next-day where Evri offers next-day delivery to your address, otherwise standard delivery. Evri emails you tracking information once your order is on its way.
- Orders placed after 4pm, at a weekend or on a bank holiday leave us on the next working day. Our delivery page has the details.
- For an update on your order, email, call or WhatsApp us with your order number.
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the courier's service.
- Please give us a full and correct delivery address and make sure someone can receive the delivery.
- If you are a consumer and we do not deliver within 30 days, or by a date we agreed was essential, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
- Custom-printed orders have their own lead times, set out in our printing terms.
Risk and ownership
- The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us, or to a person or safe place you told us to use.
- The goods become yours once we have received payment in full.
Returns and faulty goods
Our returns page explains how returns work and forms part of these terms. In short:
- To start a return, email us at sales@megapackaging.co.uk. You can also call us on 020 3972 7741 or WhatsApp us on 07342 827770. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 17:00.
- Consumers can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and have rights for faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Business customers can return unopened, unused cases in resalable condition within 14 days of delivery, as long as we agree the return first.
- If you return goods for a reason that is not our fault, for example because you have changed your mind or are not happy with them, you must tell us about the return first and only then send the goods back to us. You pay the cost of sending them back, and we do not refund that cost. When the goods come back unused, we refund in full what you paid us for them. There is no restocking fee.
- If goods are faulty, damaged in delivery or not what you ordered, we cover the cost of returning them.
- Please tell us about damage caused in delivery within 24 hours, and about missing or incorrect items within 3 days of delivery. If you are a consumer, these time limits do not affect your legal rights.
- Custom-printed goods cannot be returned unless they are faulty or do not match the sample you approved.
Custom-printed goods
We print pizza boxes, fish & chip boxes, paper bags, cups, sleeves and stickers in house. Printed orders are also covered by our printing terms, which take priority over these terms if the two ever differ. In particular:
- We start production only after you have approved a printed sample of your design, and you are responsible for checking it carefully.
- Printed goods are made to your specification, so the consumer 14-day right to cancel does not apply to them. They cannot be cancelled once production has started, and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or do not match the sample you approved.
- You must have the right to use any logo, artwork or text you send us.
Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photos are there to show you the product, and small differences in colour, print and finish can happen, including when a manufacturer updates a design. If you need a product for a particular use, such as hot food, the microwave or the freezer, please check the product details or ask us before you order.
Your account
- Please keep your sign-in details safe and do not share them. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- If you are a business customer, you are responsible for orders placed through your account.
- Please keep your account details, such as addresses and contact details, accurate and up to date.
- We may suspend or close an account that is misused or used in breach of these terms.
Our liability
For every customer
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
If you are a business customer
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
If you are a consumer
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
- If you use our products for a business, we are not liable to you for any business losses.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, courier or supplier disruption, or a failure of public networks. If this happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the delay. If the delay is likely to be significant, you can cancel the affected order for a refund of anything you have paid for goods you have not received.

Other important terms
- How we use your personal information is explained in our privacy policy and our cookie policy.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this website when you place it.

- If a court decides that any part of these terms is invalid, the rest of the terms still apply.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms. No one else can enforce them.

Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be put right quickly.
