Cutlery, Serviettes and Sauce Pots: The Small Items Every Takeaway Order Needs
The box and the bag get the attention, but a takeaway order is not finished without a fork, a serviette and, very often, a pot of sauce. These small items are used in huge numbers, so the case size matters. This guide covers the cutlery, serviettes and sauce pots we stock, with the real sizes and quantities.
Wooden cutlery
Our birchwood cutlery is a fork (6.3 inch / 16 cm, four tines), a dessert spoon (6.5 inch / 16.5 cm) and a serrated knife (6.5 inch / 16.5 cm). Each is sold in a case of 1,000: fork, spoon and knife. They are made from wood instead of plastic and suit hot and cold food, from salads and pasta to chips and desserts.
Wooden chip forks
For chips, fish and street food there is a small two-prong wooden chip fork, about 8.5 cm long, 1,000 to a dispenser box. See all chip forks. It is a good fit for a chip shop counter, a market stall or a food truck.
Reusable cutlery
The clear heavy duty fork, spoon and knife are made from polypropylene (PP), in cases of 1,000. They are built to be washed and used again, which suits canteens, events and staff rooms, and they work with hot and cold food.
Serviettes
Our paper serviettes come in two types. The 1 ply 30 x 30 cm premium serviette is quarter folded, in cases of 5,000. The 2 ply 40 x 40 cm serviette is eighth folded, in cases of 2,000. There is also a 1 ply C fold hand towel in cases of 2,640. Two ply is the one to choose when you want a more substantial serviette on the table.
Sauce pots
Our clear sauce pots come in four versions. The 1oz and 2oz hinged pots are sold in cases of 1,000, and the 4oz hinged pot in cases of 500. Each hinged pot has its lid attached, so there is no separate lid to match. The 2oz heavy duty pot has a separate flat lid and comes in cases of 800. All four are clear, so the sauce or dip can be seen, and they stack for storage.
