About this product
These square board lids fit our 9 x 9 inch aluminium foil containers in both the shallow 1.5 and the deep 2.0 versions, so one lid covers either depth. Each lid is about 22.9 x 22.9 cm with rounded corners, a plain white board top and an aluminium foil lining on the underside that faces the food.
The 9x9 is the large square size used for family meals, lasagne, shepherd's pie, pasta bakes, tray bakes and catering portions. To close it, lay the lid on the filled container and fold the foil rim over its edge all the way round. The foil lining helps keep food warm and holds back grease and moisture. The lid sits flat, so closed containers stack in a takeaway bag, hot box or freezer, and the white top can be marked with the dish or order details.

Take the lid off before the container goes in the oven, and do not put it in a microwave, as it has a foil lining. It can go in the fridge and freezer.
