About this product
This is the square 9 x 9 inch foil container in the deep 2 inch depth, sometimes called a No9 deep tray. It measures about 22.9 x 22.9 cm and 5.1 cm deep and holds about 2100 ml, enough for a family lasagne, a casserole, a curry, moussaka, a pasta bake or a shepherd's pie. Caterers, takeaways, ready-meal kitchens and school and council kitchens use it for family and party portions.
Aluminium foil lets you cook, reheat and serve in the same tray: it goes in a conventional oven and in the freezer, so meals can be made ahead and baked when needed. The extra depth over the shallow tray gives room for sauce. The trays nest inside each other, so a case of 200 stores neatly.
