About this product
These long rectangular board lids are made for our NO6 aluminium foil containers, the deeper long container at about 800 ml. Each lid is roughly 21.3 x 11 cm with rounded corners, a plain board top and an aluminium foil lining on the underside that faces the food.
NO6 containers suit larger main portions such as curry, biryani, pasta bakes, lasagne and casseroles. To close one, lay the lid on the filled container and fold the foil rim over its edge all the way round. The foil lining helps keep food warm and holds back grease and moisture. The lid sits flat, so closed containers stack in takeaway bags, hot boxes and freezers, and the top can be marked with the dish or order number.
