The No6 is a deep, oblong foil container for generous portions. It holds about 800 ml and measures roughly 21 x 11 cm across the top and 5.5 cm deep, so it takes a large curry, biryani, pasta bake, lasagne, casserole or stew with room for sauce. Takeaways, caterers and ready-meal kitchens use it for their bigger dishes.
Aluminium foil takes food hot from the pan, can go in a conventional oven to cook or reheat, and goes in the freezer for batch-cooked meals. The containers nest inside each other, so a case of 500 stores neatly.

Both are oblong. The No6 is about 21 x 11 x 5.5 cm (top length x top width x depth) and holds about 800 ml; the 6A is about 20 x 11 x 5 cm and holds about 700 ml. Each takes its own lid, so order No6 lids with No6 containers.
Can foil containers go in the oven or microwave?
They can go in a conventional oven to cook or reheat food; take the board lid off first. They are not for microwave use.
Can I freeze food in them?
Yes. They suit freezing batch-cooked portions. Put a lid on to protect the food in the freezer.
