About this product
These rectangular board lids are made for our No1 aluminium foil containers, the smallest size in the range at about 250 ml. Each lid is roughly 12 x 9.5 cm with rounded corners, a plain white board top and an aluminium foil lining on the underside that faces the food.
The No1 is the usual choice for rice, sides, sauces, dal, small curries and desserts. To close it, lay the lid on the filled container and fold the foil rim over its edge all the way round. The foil lining helps keep food warm and holds back grease and moisture, and the white top takes a marker pen, so staff can label each side dish before it goes in the bag.

Our No1 aluminium containers, which hold about 250 ml. The larger No2 containers take our NO2 lids instead.
Are the containers included?
No, the case holds 1000 lids only. The No1 containers come in cases of 1000, so one case of lids covers one case of containers.
Can I write on the lids?
Yes. The top is plain white board, so a marker pen works well for labelling dishes or order numbers.
Can the lid go in the oven or the microwave?
Take the lid off before the container goes in the oven, and do not put it in a microwave, as it has a foil lining.
