About this product
The No1 is the smallest foil container in our range, holding about 250 ml. At roughly 12 x 10 cm across the top and 3.4 cm deep, it takes a side of rice, a small curry or dal, a portion of sauce or a dessert. Indian, Chinese and other takeaways often pair it with the larger No2 for main dishes.
Aluminium foil suits hot food: fill it straight from the pan or reheat it in a conventional oven, and it can go in the freezer for batch-cooked portions. The containers nest inside each other, so a case of 1000 takes up little shelf space.
