About this product
These long rectangular board lids are made for our 6A aluminium foil containers, which hold about 700 ml. Each lid is roughly 20 x 11 cm with rounded corners, a plain silver-grey board top and an aluminium foil lining on the underside that faces the food.
The 6A is a long, slim container for main meals such as curry, rice, noodles, pasta, stir-fries and small lasagnes. To close it, lay the lid on the filled container and fold the foil rim over its edge all the way round. The foil lining helps keep food warm and holds back grease and moisture, and the flat top can be marked with the dish or order number, so orders are easy to tell apart at the pass.
- Fits 6A foil containers
- Board top, foil-lined underside
- Flat, write-on top
- 500 lids per case
The 6A containers are sold separately in cases of 500, so one case of lids matches one case of containers. The NO6 container is a slightly longer, deeper size with its own NO6 lids. Take the lid off before reheating in an oven, and keep foil out of the microwave.
Questions
Which containers do these lids fit?
Our 6A aluminium containers, which hold about 700 ml. For the slightly longer NO6 containers, use our NO6 lids.
Are the containers included?
No, the case holds 500 lids only. The 6A containers come in cases of 500, so one case of lids covers one case of containers.
How do I close the container?
Place the lid foil side down on the filled container, then fold the container's foil rim over the lid edge all the way round.
Can the lid go in the oven or the microwave?
Take the lid off before the container goes in the oven, and do not put it in a microwave, as it has a foil lining. It can go in the fridge and freezer.
