About this product
The 6A is the long, oblong foil container used for bigger portions. It holds about 700 ml and measures roughly 20 x 11 cm across the top and 5 cm deep, so it takes a large curry, a biryani, special fried rice, noodles, pasta or a single-portion bake. Takeaways, caterers and meal-prep kitchens use it when a No2 is not quite enough.
Aluminium foil takes food hot from the pan, can go in a conventional oven to cook or reheat, and goes in the freezer for batch-cooked meals. The containers nest inside each other, so a case of 500 stores neatly.

What is the difference between the 6A and the No6?
Both are oblong. The 6A is about 20 x 11 x 5 cm (top length x top width x depth) and holds about 700 ml; the No6 is a little longer and deeper, about 21 x 11 x 5.5 cm, and holds about 800 ml. Each takes its own lid, so order 6A lids with 6A containers.
Can foil containers go in the oven or microwave?
They can go in a conventional oven to cook or reheat food; take the board lid off first. They are not for microwave use.
Can I freeze food in them?
Yes. They suit freezing batch-cooked portions. Put a lid on to protect the food in the freezer.
