About this product
Our 1000cc hinged salad container is a clear, rectangular plastic box with the lid attached, holding a litre. The extra depth suits large leafy salads, pasta and grain salads, fruit, sharing portions and catering orders for cafes, delis, salad bars, caterers and event kitchens.
The lid is joined to the base by a hinge and snaps shut, so lids never go missing and staff can fill and close containers quickly at a busy counter. Ribbed walls give the container extra stiffness, and the clear plastic shows the food off in a chiller or grab-and-go display. Filled containers stack neatly, and empty ones nest inside each other to save space in the stockroom.

Questions
How much does the 1000cc container hold?
About 1000ml. That suits a large leafy salad, a pasta salad or a sharing portion.
Is the lid separate?
No. The lid is attached to the base by a hinge and snaps shut, so there are no loose lids to match up.
Can I use them for hot food?
No, these containers are meant for cold and ambient food such as salads, fruit and deli items. For hot meals, use our microwave containers or kraft food boxes.
