Nothing says milkshake bar quite like a red and white striped straw. These paper straws bring that classic candy-stripe look to smoothies, shakes, slushies and iced drinks, and they suit ice cream parlours, dessert shops, cafes and children's parties.
At 9 mm across, the straws are wide enough for thick drinks to come up easily, and at about 20 cm long they reach the bottom of standard 12oz and 16oz cold cups. Each one is spiral wound from three layers of paper. Paper straws are made for cold drinks and soften slowly in liquid, so hand them out with the drink rather than leaving them standing for hours.
