Which roll fits my card machine?

About till rolls

Thermal paper prints with heat from the printer head, so there is no ink, ribbon or cartridge to change. We stock two sizes of white thermal till roll: 80 x 80 mm in cases of 20 rolls, and 57 x 40 mm in cases of 50 rolls.

The 80 x 80 mm roll is 8 cm wide with an 8 cm roll diameter on a 1.27 cm core, for EPOS systems and cash registers that take 80 mm wide rolls. The 57 x 40 mm roll is 5.7 cm wide and 4 cm across, the size taken by many card machines, PDQ terminals, handheld receipt printers and compact tills.

Before ordering, check the roll width and the maximum roll diameter your printer takes. Store spare rolls somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, as heat and strong light can darken thermal paper.
