About this product
This is plain, unprinted newsprint paper cut to 18 x 20 inch (45.7 x 50.8 cm) sheets, a standard size for wrapping a portion of fish and chips. Chip shops use it as the outer layer: wrap the food in greaseproof paper first, then fold a sheet of this around the parcel to hold it together and help keep it warm on the way home.
Because it is unprinted, there is no newspaper ink to mark hands or parcels, and the soft off-white sheets fold neatly around portions of any shape. The paper is absorbent rather than greaseproof, so it should not be used on its own for oily food. It is also handy for general wrapping and packing around the shop.

18 x 20 inch suits a regular fish and chips and most single portions. The 20 x 24 inch sheet gives extra cover for large portions, family orders and bigger parcels.
Can the paper be recycled?
Clean, dry sheets can go in paper and card recycling. Paper soaked with grease or food may not be accepted, so check with your local collection.
