About this product
Our 10x10 brown kraft paper bags are classic counter bags for bakeries, greengrocers, delis, sweet shops, market stalls and hardware counters. Each bag measures 25.4 x 25.4 cm (10 x 10 inch), with room for a few bread rolls, pastries, a portion of fruit and veg or a bag of sweets.
The bags are strung through one corner, so you can hang a bundle on a hook by the till and pull off one bag at a time. They are made from natural, unbleached brown kraft paper, which gives a simple, traditional look. Plain kraft paper can go in paper and card recycling when clean and dry.

Questions
What does 'strung' mean?
The bags are threaded on a string through one corner, in bundles. Hang a bundle on a hook by the till and tear off one bag at a time, which keeps the counter tidy.
What fits in a 10x10 kraft bag?
At 25.4 x 25.4 cm it takes a few bread rolls, a couple of pastries, a portion of fruit or veg, sweets or small hardware items.
Can I use these bags for greasy food?
They are best for dry goods. For buttery pastries, doughnuts or oily food, choose our 10x10 white greaseproof bag, which is made to resist grease.
Can the bags be recycled?
Plain brown kraft paper bags are widely recyclable with paper and card. Keep them clean and dry: bags soaked with grease or food may not be accepted, so check your local collection.
