About this product
These extra large compactor sacks are made for waste compactors and the big bins behind busy kitchens, bars, hotels, offices and schools. Each black sack is 57.2 cm across when flat, opens out to 86.4 cm at the side gussets and is 119.4 cm long (22.5 x 34 x 47 inch), giving room for about 140 litres of waste.
The heavy duty LDPE film is around 40 to 50 microns thick (160 to 200 gauge). LDPE tends to stretch rather than split, which helps with compacted loads and with bulky, awkward waste such as flattened boxes and kitchen scraps. The long sack leaves plenty to fold over the rim while you fill it and to tie off at the top. Black film keeps the contents out of sight on the way to the bin store.
