Paper Carrier Bags: Sizes and Handles
The right carrier bag depends on what goes in it: a single box, a full order of four, or a loaf and a few sandwiches. These are the sizes we stock and what each suits.
Brown kraft paper carrier bags
Our brown kraft paper carrier bags come in four sizes: small 18 x 21 x 9 cm, medium 22 x 25 x 11 cm, large 24 x 30 x 14 cm and extra large 32 x 32 x 21 cm. Small, medium and large have flat handles; extra large has twisted handles. A large brown grab bag, 33 x 17.8 x 45.7 cm, has no handles and suits bread and long items. Cases are 250 bags for small, medium and large, and 100 for extra large and grab bags.
Picking the size
- Small: a pastry, a sandwich, a single small box.
- Medium: a meal in one box and a drink.
- Large: two or three boxes, or a boxed meal with sides.
- Extra large: a family order, or several boxes plus bags.
Plastic carrier bags
If you need a cheaper, wipe-clean bag, white plastic carrier bags come in medium (10x15x18 inch), large (11x17x21 inch) and jumbo (12x18x24 inch), in cases of 1000 to 2000. Many businesses use paper for takeaways and plastic for shopping.
Print your logo

For hot food that leaves a mark on paper, use greaseproof and kraft food bags inside the carrier: 6x6 up to 12x12 inch, plus baguette bags.
